What a Beacon site is for

A local business website has one job: convince someone who just searched for your service in their city that you are the right call, and make the call easy. Everything else is decoration.

So the site is built around that search. There is a page for each service you offer and a page for each city you want work in, and each one is written for that service and that city, not a template with the name swapped. The phone number is visible on every screen. Forms are short. The whole thing loads before the visitor has time to go back to the results.

How it is built

  • Static, not dynamic. Pages are generated ahead of time and served from the edge. There is no server to slow down or get hacked, and no plugin stack to maintain.
  • Structured for search. Every page carries the right schema markup, clean headings and internal links, generated from one source of truth so nothing drifts.
  • Tracked to the lead. Calls and form submissions push events to analytics and land in the lead counter with the page and the search that produced them.
  • Written by the pipeline, reviewed by a person. First drafts of every page come from our agent pipeline, fed with real local detail. A person edits and approves each one before it ships.

What you get

A full site with home, services, city pages, about, contact and a thank-you flow; a Google Business Profile wired to it; call and form tracking; the sitemap, robots and redirects handled; and a short guide to what was built and why. The repository and hosting are in your name.

Where it fits

Web design is sold as part of Full Local Growth, where the one-time build is paired with the monthly engine that keeps the city pages ranking and the profile active. If your current site is already fast, static and structured for city pages, we will say so and skip the build.

Questions

What is the site built on?

Static HTML generated from a modern framework and served from Cloudflare's edge network. No WordPress, no plugins, no database to patch. Pages load in well under a second on a phone, which is what Google and your customers measure.

Can I edit it myself?

Content lives in plain text files in a repository you own. Most clients prefer we make changes as part of the monthly engagement, but nothing stops you or a future developer from working on it.

How long does a build take?

Typically four to six weeks from the market map to go-live for a site with one city and the core services, longer when there are many cities in scope. The timeline is set on the growth call.

Do I keep the site if I leave?

Yes. The domain, the repository and the hosting account are yours. We do not hold sites hostage.
